Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 September 2026
This Website does not use cookies, does not run analytics, and does not load anything from third-party servers. It sets nothing on your device and builds no profile of you. This policy explains the little data that is processed anyway, and what rights you have over it.
1. Data Controller
In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Organic Law 3/2018, of December 5, on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD), the controller of any personal data processed through this Website is:
- Company name
- Lareira Digital S.L.
- Trade name
- Moendo Studio
- CIF
- ESB10583672
- Registered address
- Camino do Cereiro 20, 36995 Poio, Pontevedra, Spain
- Website
- https://moendostudio.com
- games@moendostudio.com
Lareira Digital S.L. has not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as it is not required to do so under Article 37 GDPR. Data protection enquiries are handled at the address above.
2. What this Website does not do
To be explicit, because most websites do the opposite:
- It sets no cookies of any kind, and therefore asks for no cookie consent.
- It stores nothing in your browser's local storage, session storage, or any similar technology.
- It runs no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising, and no fingerprinting.
- It loads no third-party resources. Fonts, images, styles and scripts are all served from our own server, so no outside company — Google Fonts or otherwise — receives your IP address as a result of your visit. This holds when you use the notification form too: it submits to our server, not to anyone else's.
- It does not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.
3. Data we may process
3.1 Technical connection data
To deliver a page to you, our web server and the reverse proxy in front of it necessarily receive your IP address together with standard request metadata such as the date and time, the page requested, the HTTP status returned, and your browser's user-agent string. This is inherent to how the web works and applies to every website you visit.
We do not maintain website analytics or visitor records built from this data. Such information may be processed transiently, or retained in short-lived server and infrastructure logs, strictly for operating the service, diagnosing faults, and protecting against abuse and attacks.
3.2 Correspondence
If you write to us at games@moendostudio.com, we process your email address and whatever you choose to put in your message, for the sole purpose of reading and replying to it.
3.3 The notification form
Our home page invites you to leave an email address to be notified about our first game. If you submit it, that address is sent to Mailrelay (Mailrelay S.L., Spain), the email service we use to hold the list and send the announcement, and is stored there until the list is used or you unsubscribe.
The only thing asked for, and the only thing stored, is the email address itself. We do not ask for your name, and nothing else about your visit is attached to it. The address is used for one purpose: to tell you when our first game is out. It is not used for any other mailing, is never sold, rented or shared, and there is no profiling behind it.
Submitting the form does not by itself put you on the list. Mailrelay sends you a confirmation email, and you are added only once you click the link in it — a double opt-in. If you never confirm, your address stays unconfirmed and you hear nothing further from us.
You can withdraw your consent at any time — every email we send carries an unsubscribe link, and you can also write to games@moendostudio.com and ask to be removed, which we will do without asking for a reason.
Your browser does not contact Mailrelay. The form is submitted to our own server, which passes on your email address and nothing else — not your IP address, not your browser, not the page you came from. Mailrelay therefore has no record of where you signed up from, only the address itself.
4. Legal bases for processing
- Technical connection data — our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in keeping the Website available, secure, and functioning correctly.
- Correspondence — your consent and our legitimate interest (Articles 6(1)(a) and 6(1)(f) GDPR) in responding to enquiries you have chosen to send us.
- The notification list — your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by submitting the form. You may withdraw it at any time, and withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of anything done beforehand.
5. Retention
Technical connection data is kept only as long as needed for the operational and security purposes described above, and is not archived for analysis. Correspondence is kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and, afterwards, for any period required to meet our legal obligations or to defend against possible claims. Once no longer necessary, data is deleted.
6. Recipients and international transfers
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data, and we do not disclose it to third parties except where legally obliged to do so, or where a provider processes it strictly on our instructions in order to operate the service, acting as a data processor under Article 28 GDPR. At present those are our hosting provider, and Mailrelay (Mailrelay S.L., Spain), which holds the notification list described in section 3.3.
The Website is served from infrastructure located within the European Economic Area. We do not carry out international transfers of personal data outside the EEA. Should that change, this policy will be updated and the applicable safeguards identified.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR and the LOPDGDD you have the right to request access to your personal data, its rectification or erasure, the restriction of its processing, its portability, and to object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interest. Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
To exercise any of these rights, write to games@moendostudio.com, indicating which right you wish to exercise. We may need to verify your identity before acting on the request. We will respond within one month, extendable by two further months where the request is complex, in which case we will tell you.
8. Complaints
If you believe your data protection rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos), C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid, www.aepd.es. We would appreciate the chance to resolve the matter with you first.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the Website or in the applicable law. The date at the top of this page always indicates the version in force. Where a change materially affects how your personal data is processed, we will make that clear rather than relying on the revision date alone.
10. Contact
For any question about this policy or about how we handle personal data, write to games@moendostudio.com.
